๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Set up a kid's device

On the shared tablet/phone your kids use: log in here once, then tap the button below on that device. It remembers your family after that - kids just pick their name and enter their PIN.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Using Family Link on your kid's phone? Do this first, or the app icon won't appear:
  1. Open the Family Link app
  2. Tap your kid's device
  3. Tap Controls → Google Play
  4. Turn ON "Install apps from unknown sources"

Or share this family code and enter it manually on the kid's device:

Installing the app icon on your kid's phone

iPhone/iPad: there's no automatic pop-up - open ScreenEarn in Safari, tap the Share icon, then "Add to Home Screen".

Android: open ScreenEarn in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then "Install app" (an automatic banner sometimes appears instead, but not always on the first visit).

Using Google Family Link on your kid's phone? ScreenEarn installs as a home-screen web app (a "WebAPK"), not a Google Play Store app - it doesn't go through Family Link's "approve this app" flow. Instead, Android can silently block the icon from ever being created, with no error shown to you or your kid - the install prompt appears, you tap Install, and nothing happens.

The fix: in the Family Link app, go to your kid's device → ControlsGoogle Play (or similar, varies by Android version) and turn on "Install apps from unknown sources". Then try installing ScreenEarn again on her phone - the icon should appear this time.

Still not showing? Try installing on your own unrestricted phone to confirm ScreenEarn's install itself works - if it does, the issue is on the Family Link/device side, not ScreenEarn. Either way, your kid can always use ScreenEarn as a normal bookmarked website in Chrome/Safari in the meantime, no icon required.
